I a writer..and I love books. To me, it's like a secret world, filled with all sorts of journey's and encounters. Books have allowed me to travel all over the world...and for a moment or two...be so fully immersed in someone else's life that I could mistake it for my own.
This blog is an attempt to have a post-reading journal to mark down my thoughts, feelings, musings and general comments on the books I am reading or have read in the past.
It also helps me fulfill a personal development goal which is quite simple...to read. Constantly..for the rest of my life.
About my Upcoming Book "PIOUS"
PIOUS is a story centred on the journey of a young boy to priesthood and the people in his life along the way. In particular, the story rests on his struggle with celibacy and the young women he eventually involves himself with. In the process, he commits the cardinal sin of all – Murder - in an attempt to cover up one of his affairs.
The story tells of his triumphs and struggles over the years. In the end, the book aims at shinning light on the challenges that come with the collar and attempts to tell the other side of the story from a priest’s perspective. The story line is simple yet promises to captivate the reader till the very end!
